BEAcon

BEACON is an Autonomous Drone Security Lamp Post System envisioned to be part of the LaaP (Lamp Posts as a Platform) initiative which leverages Singapore's movement towards a smarter nation. The aim of BEACON is to empower children with the means of seeking help from public authorities whenever they feel unsafe in public spaces. It consists mainly of a physical lamp post equipped with a drone that children can activate through a mobile application leading to improved emergency response time.
